Kids & Families ~
Raising a kid who knows their body, trusts themselves, and grows up without shame starts long before puberty, and you do not have to figure out how to do it alone.
Most of us grew up in homes where bodies were not talked about, periods were a surprise, and sex education was a one-time awkward class we spent trying not to make eye contact.
You are trying to do it differently. You want your kids to know their bodies, understand consent, ask questions without shame, and actually come to you when they are curious or if something ever feels off.
That is not naive, that is
exactly the right goal.
And it is completely possible.Whether your child is still in diapers,
about to get their first period,
or is in the throws of puberty,
there is support for you here.
→ All offerings are taught by a mom of four who also happens to be a Certified Nurse Midwife, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with extensive additional training and education in sexual health and wellness. with over 14 years of clinical experience.
→ All offerings are designed so that you feel just as prepared as your kid does.

-
For parents of babies and toddlers
The conversations about bodies, boundaries, consent, and sexuality should not start at puberty, they start the moment your child begins to understand the world. This class is for parents of babies and toddlers who want to lay the right foundation from day one. You will leave knowing exactly what to say, how to say it, and why starting early makes everything easier later. No awkwardness required.

For kids approaching their first period and their parent(s).
A focused, age-appropriate session for kids who are getting close and the parents who want them to be ready. We cover what periods actually are, what to expect, how to track them, what products exist, and how to talk about it without shame. An option to add on decorating a small period pouch and filling it with period supplies is also available. Kids leave informed. Parents leave relieved.

For kids ages 10+ and their parents
The health class they never gave us (and are still not really giving to most kids!) The conversation most parents do not know how to start. The information every kid deserves without the awkwardness, the shame, or the outdated information.
Not Your Mama's Sex Ed covers the full picture. Body changes, hormones, emotions, puberty, sex, relationships, boundaries, and consent — all of it, in language that is honest, age-appropriate, and completely shame-free. Nothing watered down. Nothing left out.
Taught by a Certified Nurse Midwife, Women’s Health NP and Psych NP (with extensive additional training in sex education) with over 14 years of experience having these conversations with kids and families… which means your kid gets the real information, and you get to be in the room when they get it.
Content is tailored to meet your child where they are. A 10 year old and a 14 year old will have the same foundation with age-appropriate depth.
